With decades of experience at powerhouse labels like Atlantic, Epic, Island, and Warner/Reprise, Mo has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of iconic artists including Jay-Z, Luther Vandross, The Isley Brothers, T.I., Fat Joe, Sean Paul, Quincy Jones, Brandy, Trey Songz, Musiq Soulchild, Babyface and Missy Elliott. His visionary mentorship has guided many to success.

One of his biggest leaps came in 2015, when he walked away from a high six-figure salary as an Executive VP at Atlantic Records, bringing half of his team with him. He started his own company, Evolution 3, and within two years, Mo had doubled his income and built an enduring legacy with integrity. A prostate cancer survivor, Mo understands that every day is a gift and an opportunity to walk in purpose. His journey from a comfortable position to taking a risk and starting his own company is a testament to his resilience and determination.

After being baptized for the first time at the NLSA event in Atlanta, Mo is embracing a calling to speak, mentor, and share the deeper story behind his success. A keynote speaker at institutions like Berklee College of Music, City College  and Texas State University, Mo brings authenticity, experience, and strategy to every stage. His leadership has been recognized by the Living Legends Legacy Foundation and featured in Billboard, Black Enterprise, Yahoo News, and more.

Through his signature platform, “Take the Leap: From Fear to Execution,” he helps young adults, emerging leaders, and aspiring creatives confront fear head-on. He teaches that fear can either paralyze or propel, and every breakthrough begins on the other side of a bold decision. Today, Mo isn’t just telling a story. He’s delivering a blueprint. One forged in faith, tested by adversity, and proven by results, to help others overcome doubt, bet on themselves, and step fully into the life they were created to live.

At his core, Mo is a proud husband to Elaine and father to two daughters, Jordan Kaya and Kaivona. His family is his anchor, inspiring his purpose and reminding him daily that legacy is about more than music. It’s about service, impact, and rising when called.
